The counselling process is conducted separately from the examination result. Candidates should therefore wait for the official counselling schedule and registration notification from the concerned counselling authority.

No.
Clearing the qualifying cutoff makes a candidate eligible for the subsequent admission process, but it does not guarantee admission to a particular MD, MS or PG Diploma course.
Final seat allotment depends on factors such as:
- NEET PG rank
- Category
- Choice filling
- Seat availability
- Applicable reservation rules
- Counselling authority
- College and course preferences
- Other admission criteria
The cutoff is therefore different from the closing rank of a particular college or specialty.
What courses are available through NEET PG?
NEET PG is used as the eligibility-cum-entrance examination for postgraduate medical courses including:
- MD – Doctor of Medicine
- MS – Master of Surgery
